Floor Finisher – Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Floor Finisher to join our team on a full-time basis for residential and commercial flooring projects.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for measuring, cutting, installing, repairing and finishing a range of floor coverings.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Measure floor areas and prepare surfaces for installation.
• Cut, fit and install carpet, timber, vinyl, resin and other floor coverings.
• Sand, stain, polish and apply finishing coatings to timber floors.
• Mix and apply resin flooring systems where required.
• Repair, replace and maintain damaged flooring.
• Read and interpret plans, drawings and job specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools and flooring equipment safely.
• Follow workplace health and safety requirements.
• Liaise with supervisors, clients and other trades on site.

Skills and Experience Required

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant full-time experience; or
• Relevant trade qualification such as Certificate III or Certificate IV.
• Experience with carpet, timber, vinyl, resin and/or commercial flooring.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Current driver’s licence preferred.
• White Card or ability to obtain one.
